Your Zanzibar Place was born out of a love for simple living, meaningful connections, and barefoot freedom. Tucked just a two-minute walk from Paje Beach, the island’s beating heart for beach life and nightlife, we set out to build something different: a place that feels like home, but better.

Fun Atmosphere, Great Food and Lovely People!
The staff were very kind and helpful, I felt very safe, and I met wonderful people. The hostel had a restaurant and a bar with amazing food and cocktails. They gave me contacts for activities in Zanzibar, arranged airport pickup and drop-off. The whole hostel area had such a great vibe: sand, comfy seats, good music, hammocks, table tennis, darts, a beach volleyball court... I had an amazing time!

A hostel with HEART
We stayed here in July - beautiful and simple set up: traditional accommodation, tasty breakfast and right near the beach. The hostel has immaculate vibes - a brilliant place to chill, meet people and connect with the local community. My sincere and big thanks to Matteo and the whole team for specially accommodating us after my partner broke his leg. We were upgraded to a room with a private toilet, which made life so much easier on crutches. Hugely appreciated! And a shout out to the food! The tuna salad is on point.

This place is amazing! The food the people the location everything is wonderful! Breakfast is good and it’s close to the beach. I would highly reccomend this place. You’ll make friends easily. Paje town is just a 10 min walk and you’ll find everything there. The area is pretty safe!

Nice accommodation, great staff - always helpful with positive attitude, really tasty food and drinks, close to the beach, opportunity to meet plenty of people, a lot of a activities can be booked in the hostel or nearby, definitely recommended !!!

Great stay here in Zanzibar
Wonderfull authentic place near Paje, you are on the beach within a minute, the food is great, and it has a nice relaxed hostel vibe. You'll meet the majority of the guest during breakfast or at night with a drink, but without the obligations.

Within 5 mins of checking in at the hostel I was made to feel completely at home. The vibe is so chill and friendly, the food is delicious, but it’s the staff who made this an amazing stay for me.
